Wednesday Men

Men’s mental health and the risk of isolation remains a significant risk across the County Durham area. Every Wednesday between 10 am and 2 pm we offer 4 hours of support and activities at The Ferryhill Ladder Centre for men who are looking to make new friends and get involved in well-being related activities. Over the last 3 years our group members have enjoyed regular social trips, walking football, health walks, activities aimed at improving life skills and saving money and access to local gym sessions. We welcome men to the group of all ages and from all backgrounds, and a free light lunch is provided. Currently this group receives no funding and survives on donations and contributions from those taking part. For more details please just contact us at The Ladder Centre.
