Our Story 

The Ferryhill Ladder Centre is a bustling hub of activity that reflects the heart of our community. From employment and training support to benefits advice, we strive to meet the needs of individuals and families in Ferryhill.

We offer:

  • Free IT access to help the community connect and grow.
  • Social activity groups designed to combat isolation, promote mental health, and encourage physical activity.
  • Support for improving employment opportunities, volunteering, and financial wellbeing.
  • Youth groups and services for the younger members of our community.

We’re proud to be a referral point for the local Foodbank and an access point for the NE First Credit Union, further strengthening our commitment to supporting those in need.

  • Benefits Advice: Not sure if you’re receiving the correct amount? Struggling with forms or repaying a loan? Our team is here to guide you.
  • Food Bank Referrals: We offer food voucher schemes for adults, children, and families facing financial struggles.
  • One-to-One Support: Our trained staff provide tailored advice and support on housing, mental health, finances, employment, training, and more.
